About Us
Into the Blue makes authentic Italian style wood fired pizza in Haliburton County and beyond. This totally mobile business has been in operation since 2014 and can be seen at Markets, Festivals, and people's homes and cottages. We also operate our pizza truck at Abbey Gardens May-October.
From 2014 until 2019 our key focus was markets, festivals, catering and partnering with business to create great events. We built our business to be fully mobile to cater Haliburton County and beyond, and then opened a permanent location in our Food Truck (new in 2019), now at Abbey Gardens. We are busy having fun serving people all over the Highlands, Kawarthas, and Muskokas. Come check us out!

Into the Blue Pizza is now a part of Abbey Gardens!
Originally incubated out of Abbey Gardens' initiative to support new businesses, Janine started Into the Blue in 2014 with a vision to bring quality catering made from local ingredients to Haliburton County. Thriving and growing ever since, the business has now come full circle and re-joined the Abbey Gardens Team! All proceeds go towards Abbey Gardens' not-for-profit Initiatives.

There are so many ways to fill a day on site. With hiking trails (and snowshoes available to rent through the winter), a well-loved disc golf course, ponies to visit and gardens to walk, forest playgrounds for the kids and so much more. Take the dog for a walk, keep the kids entertained for the day, and be sure to grab some lunch!
